Terese Westergreen
Wee Sign Owner and Certified Instructor

Terese's background is in small business, she has experience in Education and over 12 years of American Sign Language experience with Level III fluency. Above all, Terese is Mom to one school-age daughter and a pre-school aged son; both children were exposed to ASL as infants and continue to sign avidly. After signing with her daughter for a few weeks, Terese began to see the many benefits of signing. In 2001, she found the SIGN with your BABYTM program and contacted Sign2Me

"I am passionate about what I do. To watch little tiny hands move in meaningful communication keeps me in awe! It is so exciting to hear parents share their signing success stories. The benefits are limitless both for babies, children, parents and caregivers. Signing truly is a wonderful journey of communication discovery!"

Rhea O'Hara
Certified Infant Sign Instructor

As a service provider working with families of children with disabilities, Rhea has always considered communication to be a very essential part of everyday life. Communication eases frustration for everyone involved, whether it is words, gestures, pictures, or signs. Now that many of Rhea's close friends are having children, she has observed how sign language eases that frustration for both parent and child in one's early life. She was very intrigued when one of her friends began signing with their daughter, at the age of 16 months. Rhea has completed American Sign Language Levels I and II.
Rhea is a Wee Sign Instructor for Central Alberta and North.

"The greatest feeling for me is that I had the skills to communicate with young babies while in my care. I have been able to practice my skills on and off throughout my career. Now I am excited to be applying my skills and sharing them with others to help parents of young children "talk" to each other. I look forward to sharing this wonderful resource with my own children, once I start a family."
